Licensing FAQ

This Licensing FAQ provides general answers regarding commercial use, license rights, Exclusive products, ownership transfer, marketplace licensing, and related topics within the Tacticool Art ecosystem.

How does licensing work on Tacticool Art?

Tacticool Art operates under a platform-managed licensing framework.

Vendors select applicable product categories or license models, while the platform administers the corresponding buyer-facing licensing structure.

Are Tacticool Art products intended for commercial use?

Generally, yes.

Marketplace products operate within a commercial licensing ecosystem and are intended for commercial use according to the applicable license terms.

Buyers should review product information, license scope, and applicable usage expectations before purchasing or deployment.

What is the difference between Commercial License and Exclusive Commercial License?

Commercial License products may be available under Non-Exclusive or related marketplace licensing models.

Exclusive Commercial License products are intended for one buyer only and may involve additional marketplace integrity handling, exclusivity expectations, and buyer protection considerations.

What does “Exclusive” mean on Tacticool Art?

Exclusive products are intended for one buyer only under the applicable Exclusive Commercial License framework.

After a completed Exclusive purchase, the applicable product may be removed from future marketplace sales or otherwise restricted according to marketplace procedures.

Does buying an Exclusive product make me the owner of the design?

Not automatically.

Standard purchases — including Exclusive purchases — generally provide license rights according to the applicable licensing framework.

Ownership of original artwork remains with the creator or rights holder unless a separate ownership transfer agreement has been completed.

Can buyers request ownership transfer?

Certain eligible products may support optional ownership transfer requests.

Where available, ownership transfer requests may involve:

  • Platform Review
  • Vendor Participation & Approval
  • Negotiation Handling
  • Applicable Terms
  • Separate Agreement Procedures

Ownership transfer is not automatically included with standard purchases.

Can I modify purchased products?

Generally, buyers may adapt, customize, modify, combine, or commercially deploy products according to the applicable license terms.

Permitted usage may depend on the applicable license scope and product conditions.

Can I use purchased artwork for branding or merchandise?

Generally, marketplace products are intended for commercial use according to the applicable licensing framework.

Depending on the license scope, buyers may use eligible products for branding, merchandise, apparel, marketing materials, business projects, creative production, client work, and comparable commercial applications.

Can I resell purchased files?

Unless expressly permitted by the applicable license or separate agreement, buyers should not redistribute, resell, sublicense, upload, share, or offer purchased source files as standalone competing digital products.

Can I claim authorship of purchased artwork?

No.

Purchasing a license generally grants usage rights according to the applicable licensing framework but does not automatically transfer original authorship status or creator identity.

What happens if an Exclusive product appears elsewhere?

If a buyer discovers a suspected duplicate Exclusive sale, unauthorized relicensing issue, outside-platform duplication, conflicting exclusivity concern, or comparable integrity matter, the buyer may submit an Exclusive Integrity Claim for platform review.

Verified integrity breaches may result in buyer protection measures and seller enforcement outcomes according to marketplace procedures.

Can vendors change licensing after a product is purchased?

Marketplace licensing handling may depend on applicable platform rules, transaction status, operational considerations, and licensing administration procedures.

Completed transactions and applicable license rights may be subject to the relevant marketplace framework governing the purchase.

Who controls licensing on Tacticool Art?
